Me Catherine Dufresne joined the firm in 2016 after having completed her articling and practices mainly in litigation and in administrative law. She is regularly called upon to draft procedures, briefs and legal opinions in diverse areas of law, as well as to represent clients before the courts and administrative tribunals.

Me Dufresne also acts as prosecutor for certain municipalities in penal matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Me Dufresne completed three co-operative internships in the course of her studies and worked as a summer student in the legal departments of a large Quebec enterprise, as well as in a Crown corporation.

In the course of her studies, Me Dufresne had the opportunity to study international commercial law at the University of Hertfordshire in England for a semester. She also acted as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law of the Université de Sherbrooke.

  • Was involved in in legal clinics in Montreal and Estrie regions.
